Povrstvené pracovné rukavice z polyesteru neobsahujúce silikón. Polyuretánová vrstva poskytuje najvyššiu odolnosť proti prepichnutiu. EN 420: Definuje všeobecné požiadavky na dizajn a konštrukciu rukavíc, neškodnosť, pohodlie a účinnosť, označenie a informácie platné pre všetky ochranné rukavice. Informácie sú priložené v návode. EN 388: Táto európska norma špecifikuje požiadavky, metódy skúšania, označovanie a dodávané informácie pre ochranné rukavice proti mechanickým rizikám spôsobeným oderom, rezom čepeľou, trhaním a prepichnutím. Norma je použiteľná len spolu s EN 420. Stupeň ochrany sa udáva v zátvorke za normou, napríklad EN 388 (4131), v poradí: - ochrana proti oderu (0 – 4), - rezu čepeľou (0 – 4), - trhanie (0 – 5), - prepichnutie (0 – 4). CAT 1: Osobné ochranné prostriedky jednoduchej konštrukcie, ktorých návrh vychádza z toho, že používateľ je schopný sám zhodnotiť úroveň ochrany proti rizikám, ktoré môže používateľ včas a bezpečne rozpoznať. Táto skupina výrobkov je označovaná ako prvá kategória.
